Introduction

Les nouvelles contraintes liées à la protection de l'environnement, aux économies d'énergie, et aux exigences croissantes de qualité et de rendement, justifient la conception de nouveaux procédés dans les technologies modernes. Les études traitent des aspects théoriques et expérimentaux des transferts et transports dans les procédés diphasiques gaz-liquide, et s'intéressent particulièrement aux procédés innovants et à haute efficacité. Les projets de recherche concernent l'étude des transferts de matière et de chaleur, le couplage réaction chimique-transfert, l'identification des mécanismes de transfert, la détermination expérimentale, la cinétique chimique, les corrélations et modèles de transfert

Research is focused on a limited array of topics, mainly on transport phenomena, including chemical kinetics. The methods are experimental observation and modeling of complex phenomena with the aim of developing simulation tools (kinetics + thermodyanmics) for process and product designs. Our role is to provide a research completely integrated to the industry needs in terms of technical innovations and new processes.
The gas-liquid transfer activity has been handled in close collaboration with contactors. Research is also carried out on physico-chemical parameters estimation.
